Sacrament of Repentance and Confession

The Sacrament of Repentance and Confession is one of the seven holy sacraments, by which the sinner returns to God, confessing his/her sins before the priest to be absolved by the priest through the authority granted to the priest by God.  By this absolution the confessing person is granted the forgiveness of those sins which he/she confessed.

In our journey toward holiness and the likeness of our Lord Christ, repentance and confession serve as our compass and direction that allow us to see our path to righteousness.

To start partaking in this Sacrament at SPOT Church, please answer the following questions below. All personal information will remain confidential with the priest and secretary's office.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Confession Schedule

Resources

It’s recommend to participate in the Sacrament of Confession about every two months unless Kesis Abai has instructed you otherwise. If you are new to participating in the Sacrament of Confession or have not confessed consistently, remember Confession is a journey and lifestyle. The first step is to have a repentful heart and ensuring you are spending time with God. Here are some additional recourses that can help you on your journey of confession and partaking in the Holy Communion. Even if you participate in the Sacrament of Confession consistently, it is highly recommended you are always evaluating your soul.
